Education is derived from a Latin word that means to ‘bring out.’ Our philosophy of education is very simple- to draw out of the child the gift of intelligence, by creating an atmosphere where enquiry and interest can be stimulated by instilling confidence in a child to believe in himself or herself. Developing intellectual curiosity, awareness and harmony, enhancing creative and critical intelligence, thinking and helping children to be valued citizens of tomorrow’s world; this is the motivation that guides The Lexicon Schools. The academic program shall make adequate provision for the general educational needs of its students.

The Schools bring out the all-rounded development of the students by promoting personality development, academics, using Information Technology as one way of enhancing its mission to teach the skills, knowledge and behaviour, which the students will need as responsible citizens in the global connected community.

We are a self-financed, independent, CBSE Affiliated School offering classes I-XI with Arts and Commerce Subjects. The primary programme follows a curriculum by drawing on the teaching programme of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Teaching and learning at the School are designed to be enjoyable experiences for children, thus making them want to come to school even when they don’t have to. By making learning fun but meaningful, and increasing a student’s interest, we lay the foundation for developing a lifelong interest in learning. Thus, children are developed and oriented with a readiness to successfully enter middle school and beyond. In these classes, Hindi is offered as the second language.

Here, the focus is on encouraging enquiry, exploration and on inculcating confidence in key learning skills- reading, writing, listening, speaking, information technology capability, problem-solving, management skills, observation and measurement. Children are encouraged to speak and perform at assemblies, concerts, drama productions, and so gain confidence in their ability to communicate to a wider audience. Children are also encouraged to take part in various competitions and other celebrations organised by the school regularly. They are also encouraged to take part in field trips and community service.

conceptualised by our Dear Moisha Ma’am, was initiated on a large scale this session. It combines both basic and applied research and is aimed at discovering solutions to the problems or creating new goods and enhancing knowledge. It was conducted from Classes VI – X.

We have a powerful influence on our students, and we can help them feel confident and proud of themselves and their accomplishments. We can help them feel secure enough that they are willing and able to learn With this aim in mind the C2B’s, the brainchild of our Director Dr Monisha Sharma are conducted from Classes 1-5.

The world we are living in today is quite different from the one of decades ago when most policies have been written. Here we thus, also keep in mind the safety issues which are an essential part of the students’ life and are meant to raise them to be the best version they can be. We know that we cannot abandon schools and keep our kids safely tucked at home. Ensuring school safety we create a friendly environment for students to learn and practice different skills.

The school authorities regularly update their understanding of security and implement new policies and strategies. We have Safety & Secuirty Committee at school which comprises of staff that take regular rounds of the campus during the working hours of the school and even after the children leave. The school has CCTV camera, Fire extinguishers in the bus and all the floors, “I Do care” Boxes for children etc.. to just name a few.

Authority cards are now a mandate for every parent to carry while visiting the school premises for any reason.

Teaching and learning go hand in hand at Lexicon and this makes it necessary to have teacher training modules well-knit in the curriculum catering to the demands of the Teaching-Learning process. We believe in a learning tringle where at the apex is the Student and the other two vertices being the parent and the school. Working together hand-in-hand is how we aim to succeed.
